A spirit of intentional stewardship, compassion, and community continues to guide the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians, and in 2025 that commitment was once again demonstrated through the Tribe’s continued support of Seattle Children’s Hospital as part of Bender’s One Big Give.

The centerpiece of this year’s effort was a month-long fuel match campaign held throughout November. Through this effort, the Stillaguamish Tribe contributed $0.10 per gallon for every gallon of fuel purchased at its River Rock Tobacco & Fuel and Angel of the Winds Casino Resort fuel stations—an act of giving that transformed routine, everyday purchases into meaningful support for children’s healthcare. By the end of the campaign, the fuel program generated an impressive $251,340, directly benefiting the Uncompensated Care Fund at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

This year, the Tribe’s Holiday Giving campaign was further amplified through a live radio broadcast that helped connect the community to the cause. On November 8, 2025, Jodi and Bender from 95.7 The Jet broadcast live from the Tribe’s Angel of the Winds Casino Resort to announce the kickoff of the fuel campaign. The on-site broadcast brought together Tribal leadership, team members, guests, and listeners across the region, providing an opportunity to share the Tribe’s values, generosity, and commitment to caring for future generations.

On December 16, 2025, the Tribe participated in the live Bender’s One Big Give radiothon broadcast from Seattle Children’s Hospital. During the broadcast, Members of the Stillaguamish Tribal Council proudly presented the $251,340 check to Jodi and Bender, contributing to this year’s overall total raised (more than $860k) for the Seattle Children’s Hospital Uncompensated Care Fund.

Together, the fuel match campaign and live broadcasts reflect more than charitable giving—they reflect deliberate care and enduring stewardship. Through thoughtful leadership and strong partnerships, the Stillaguamish Tribe’s Holiday Giving 2025 campaign stands as a meaningful investment in hope, healing, and the wellbeing of children and families throughout Washington State.
