What We Do
In support of the mission statement of the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians, our mission is to assist members of the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians, employees, and members of the community, to improve individual and family functioning and elevate their quality of life. We provide services in the following priority: a.) Members of the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians and their families; b.) Native Americans of other tribes; c.) Non-Natives. Priority is also given to those referred from Stillaguamish Tribal facilities and programs.
Our facility provides outpatient counseling and therapy to help individuals (including children and youth), couples, and families meet the challenges they face in their lives. We strive to provide culturally relevant services based on the medicine wheel philosophy, considering the integration of the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of life. We believe these four aspects are interrelated and must be in balance and in harmony, in order to elevate quality of life. Our services cover a wide range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, trauma, behavior and conduct problems, grief and loss, relationship issues, and youth & family difficulties. We strive to collaborate with referring programs and other services in order to provide the highest opportunity for success in achieving optimum whole health.
